3 escape injury as car veers off I-95 in one car accident
December 2, 2015 – The Connecticut Post reports:
WESTPORT – Three people are lucky to walk away with no injuries after the vehicle they were riding in veered off I-95 and crash into the woods.
Assistant Chief Larry Conklin said the one-car crash happened just before 9 p.m. Tuesday between northbound Exits 18 and 19.
“The vehicle was off the roadway into the woods. The three occupants were apparently uninjured in the accident and refused medical transport to the hospital,” Conklin said.
While no cause of the crash has been determined, weather may have played a role since it was raining at the time.
The last fire department unit cleared the scene at 9:51 p.m., the assistant chief said.
